The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to take place from October 3 to 20 in the UAE. 

Earlier, the T20 event was set to take place in Bangladesh. But due to civil unrest in the country, the International Cricket Council (ICC) moved it to the UAE.

Despite that, the Bangladesh Cricket Board will retain the hosting rights, with the ICC revealing the revised schedule with changes in fixtures and venues.

Bangladesh and Scotland will play the tournament opener on October 3 in Sharjah. While the tournament will conclude on October 20, with Dubai hosting the final.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: Participating Teams and Groups

The women’s T20 tournament will involve 10 teams vying for the silverware split into 2 groups.

Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka

Group B: Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies, Scotland

Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: Venues

Two of the UAE’s prominent venues will host 23 matches, including semi-finals and final.

In India, Star Sports Network will broadcast all Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 matches on TV. Additionally, the games will be available for live streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar app and website.

Fans in Australia can enjoy the action on Fox Sports and Kayo, while in New Zealand, Sky Sports NZ and Sky Go will stream the matches.

In the United Kingdom, Sky Sports and Sky Go will bring live action to the fans. In the USA, Willow TV and ESPN+ will broadcast the games on TV.
