5. Muthiah Muralidaran: 111 Wickets | Galle

At the Galle International Stadium, former Sri Lankan spinner Muthiah Muralidaran took 111 wickets from 15 matches at an average of 18.5 and a strike rate of 51.59, with 11 five-wicket and 4 ten-wicket hauls to his name. 

Muralidaran’s best performance in Galle came against England, when he picked up 7 wickets for 46 runs, where he dismissed England’s captain Michael Vaughan and senior batters like Paul Collingwood and Andrew Flintoff.

4. Stuart Broad: 113 Wickets | Lord’s

Former England pacer Stuart Broad took 113 wickets from 28 matches at the Lord’s Cricket Ground at an average of 27.6 and a strike rate of 53, with 7 four-wicket hauls, 3 five-wicket hauls, and a ten-wicket haul. 

Broad’s best figures at Lord’s were 7/44 when he blew away the top order of New Zealand in the fourth innings of the match, where New Zealand had to chase 249 runs and they were bowled out for 68 runs.

At Lord’s, Anderson picked up 7 for 42 runs against the West Indies in 2017 in a must-win match for England, which they won by 9 wickets.
