5. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka)

Former Sri Lankan captain and wicketkeeper batter Kumar Sangakkara has 26 dismissals to his name from 31 T20 World Cup matches. The left-handed batter took 12 catches as a keeper and did 14 stumpings.

Sangakkara played 5 T20 World Cups for Sri Lanka from 2007 to 2014. He led Sri Lanka in the 2009 and 2010 T20 World Cups, where he took his team to the final and the semi-final, respectively.

 

4. Denesh Ramdin (West Indies)

Denesh Ramdin was a crucial player for the West Indies as a wicketkeeper-batsman. The right-handed batter caused 27 dismissals as a keeper for the West Indies in the T20 World Cup, taking 18 catches and affecting 9 stumpings from 29 matches.

Denesh was part of the West Indies team both times when they won the T20 World Cup in 2012 and 2016. His first appearance in the tournament came in 2007.

 

3. Quinton de Kock (South Africa)

Left-handed explosive South African opener Quinton de Kock has affected around 28 dismissals. He has taken more than 21 catches and has done around 7 stumpings.

De Kock has been an integral part of the South African team since 2013. He played his first T20 World Cup in 2014, and since then, he has featured in all the T20 World Cups for South Africa.

 

2. Kamran Akmal (Pakistan)

Kamran Akmal, who was known for his explosive batting, was the most successful wicketkeeper for Pakistan in the T20 World Cups. Kamran has 30 wicketkeeping dismissals to his name from 30 matches. He took 12 catches and did 18 stumpings.

The right-handed opening batter was part of the Pakistan team in 2007 when they played in the finals, and he was also part of the Pakistan team when they won the trophy in 2009.

Akamal’s best performance as a keeper came in the 2009 T20 World Cup against the Netherlands, where he made 4 stumpings on the bowling of Shahid Afridi and Saeed Ajmal.

Dhoni’s best performance as a keeper came in the 2009 T20 World Cup while playing against Afghanistan, where he took 4 catches in an innings.
