5. Tillakaratne Dilshan: 5 Centuries | Pallekele

Former Sri Lankan opener Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 5 ODI centuries at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in 15 innings. His highest score here was 144 runs, which he smashed against Zimbabwe during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, helping Sri Lanka to register an easy win, which was followed by another ton later in the same year against Pakistan

In 2012, Dilshan went on to score 3 more tons at Pallekele from 4 innings. He also has 2 half-centuries to his name here. Dilshan was a match-winner for Sri Lanka, and he was handy with his bowling too.

4. Hashim Amla: 5 Centuries | Centurion

Hashim Amla, who was one of the most consistent batters in One-Day Internationals, scored 5 centuries from 15 innings at Supersport Park in Centurion, where he scored a total of 879 runs at an average of 67.6.

He scored 4 consecutive hundreds here and became the first cricketer to achieve this feat. Amla’s scores in those four innings were 133 against the West Indies in 2015, 124 against New Zealand in the same year, 127 against England in 2016, and 154 against Sri Lanka in the same year. All of these four tons came in a winning cause for South Africa.

3. Sachin Tendulkar: 7 Centuries | Sharjah

Sachin at Sharjah, the first thing that comes to our mind is his peak performance in the Coca-Cola Cup in 1998, where he scored 2 centuries from 5 innings, hitting 435 runs at an average of 100.4.

Sachin Tendulkar played a total of 42 ODIs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, scoring 7 centuries and smashing 1178 runs. Out of his 7 tons, 6 came in a winning cause for India, and he was chosen as player of the match every time he scored a century here. 

2. Saeed Anwar: 7 Centuries | Sharjah

Saeed Anwar, who represented Pakistan in 247 matches, played 51 ODIs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, where he scored 7 centuries, 11 half-centuries, and 2179 runs at an average of 45.4. The left-hander hit three consecutive centuries at Sharjah in 1993, scoring 107, 131, and 111 against Sri Lanka and the West Indies.

In 1997 at Sharjah, Anwar scored 104 runs from 128 balls against archrivals India in a run chase of 240 runs. He kept Pakistan in the game while they kept on losing the wickets from the other hand, and no other batter scored a half-century.

1. Ricky Ponting: 7 Centuries | Melbourne

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting scored 7 centuries at Melbourne Cricket Ground from 41 ODIs. He also hit 15 fifties here.

The right-hander scored back-to-back centuries in the Australian summer of 2001-02 when he scored 119 against England and 106* against Sri Lanka. Ponting also has a century here while representing and captaining the ICC World XI against the ACC Asia XI.

Ponting’s last ODI ton at MCG came in 2007, when he smashed 104 runs against New Zealand and helped Australia win the match.
