Australia Cricket Team: 2024-25 Home Schedule

The Australian men’s and women’s cricket teams will be in action against some mighty teams on home soil in the 2024-25 season.

This article will give you a sneak peek into Australia’s 2024-25 home season schedule.

Australia Men’s Team 2024-25 Home Schedule

Australia vs Pakistan (Nov 2024)

Australia will start their home schedule by hosting Pakistan for 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.

The first ODI will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 4. Adelaide Oval will host the second ODI on November 8, and the last match will take place at the Perth Stadium on November 10.

Both teams will then lock horns in the T20I series. Brisbane will host the first T20I match on November 14. 

The second T20I will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on November 16, while the third game will take place at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on November 18.

Australia vs India (Nov 2024 – Jan 2025)

After Pakistan’s departure, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will take centre stage. Australia will battle it out against India in a 5-match Test series to reclaim the trophy.

The first Test match will take place at the Perth Stadium on November 22. The second Test will be a day-night affair, played with a pink ball at the Adelaide Oval from December 6 onwards.

The third Test match will be staged at the Gabba in Brisbane starting on December 14. After a brief Christmas break, the action will resume on December 26 at the MCG with the Boxing Day Test.

The fifth and final Test match will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground starting on January 3.

Australia Women’s Cricket Team 2024-25 Home Schedule

Australia Women vs New Zealand Women (Sept 2024)

Australian women will begin their home schedule by taking on trans-Tasman rival New Zealand in a 3-match T20I series.

The first 2 T20I games will be played on September 19 and 22 in Mackay. Allan Border Field in Brisbane will host the third T20I on September 24.

Australia Women vs India Women (December 2024)

The Southern Stars will be back in action on home soil in December 2024, hosting India women for a 3-match ODI series.

Brisbane will host the first 2 ODI matches scheduled for December 5 and 8, with the third game taking place on December 11 in Perth.

Australia Women vs England Women (Jan – Feb 2025)

The start of the new year will see England women touring down under for the multi-format Women’s Ashes series. The thrilling Women’s Ashes series includes 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is, and a one-off Test match.

The series will get underway in Sydney, with the first ODI scheduled for January 12. Melbourne and Hobart will host the second and third ODIs on January 14 and 17, respectively.

Both teams will be back in Sydney for the first T20I game scheduled to take place on January 20. The second T20I will take place in Canberra on January 23, while Adelaide Oval will host the third match on January 25.

The MCG will be decked up to host the 4-day one-off Test match starting on January 30.
